SCHOLARSHIPS

The Raymond Peters Memorial Conservation Scholarship was established by the Yuma County Conservation District to assist students attend post-secondary education in areas of study related to conservation and/or natural resources i.e., agriculture, agronomy, ecology, precision ag, soils, natural resources, conservation, wildlife or related fields. The student must reside, or parents must own property in the Yuma County Conservation District. The Selection Committee will choose scholarship recipients.

 

Students must have a minimum high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher to be eligible to apply. A maximum of $4,000.00 will be awarded. The amount of the scholarship will be prorated based on the program the student attends. It will be payable in the amount of $500.00 per semester for eight semesters.  Applications are due by 4:00pm on May 2, 2025.
